What it is
Multiple coats of joint compound over tape and fasteners, sanded smooth between each one, finished with the texture (or lack of one) your walls need to match. We don't rush coats, because the ones that get rushed are the ones that show up as ridges under paint.
How it works
Every seam and fastener gets taped and covered with the first coat of compound.
Two more coats, each wider than the last, feathered out so the seam disappears into the wall.
Sanded smooth under raking light, so nothing gets missed that paint would later reveal.
