About 20 to 45 miles north and west
Middlesex and Somerset County are a short drive up the Parkway and Route 18 from Asbury Park. Between them they hold dense older suburbs, college-town housing around New Brunswick, newer developments, and a large share of the state's offices and commercial space.
Towns like Edison, Woodbridge, East Brunswick, and Old Bridge are full of ranches, split-levels, and colonials built in the 1950s through the 1970s. Common jobs here are opening up walls between rooms, finishing basements, and bringing tired walls and ceilings back to a smooth, modern finish.
Along the Route 1, Route 287, and Turnpike corridors there is a lot of office, retail, and light-industrial space. For commercial clients we hang and finish partition walls and ceilings, including fire-rated (Type X) assemblies where the plans call for them, and schedule the work around the space's hours and the other trades.
Further west in Bridgewater, Hillsborough, Franklin, and Basking Ridge, many homes are larger single-family houses where homeowners want additions, bonus rooms, and finished lower levels done to a high standard. We match the existing finish so new space looks like it was always part of the house.
